TorqueTrak 50 SPM
Shaft Torque and Power Monitoring System
The TorqueTrak 50 (TT50) SPM is a wireless monitoring system that provides long-term measurements of torque, RPM, and power on rotating shafts without the need for shaft disassembly or modification. Using strain gages for direct sensing, the system consists of two primary components: a battery-powered link-style transmitter collar that is installed on the shaft and a receiver that is mounted nearby.
Suggested Uses
Long-term monitoring of torque, RPM, and power on larger shafts.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
Easy to install – Transmitter collar straps to shaft. Receiver mounts on wall or bulkhead—no pedestal mounting system required.
Versatile – Simple, robust link-style mounting system for on-shaft components (transmitter) allows for easy conversion to different shaft diameters from 65 mm to 1000 mm or larger.
2 Channels – Transmit two independent strain sensor channels with a single transmitter.
4 Transmitters per Receiver – Each receiver can process data from up to 4 transmitters simultaneously.
Variable Sample Rate – User-selectable sample rate (1, 300, 600, 1200, 2400 sps) to optimize battery life vs data requirements
Multi-range – Eight user-selectable input ranges
Low Maintenance – One-year battery life (dependent on sample rate and number of active channels)
RS485 or TCP/IP – Multiple options for long distance error-free data transmission to monitoring and display equipment
Rugged – Transmitter electronics are encased in potting and protected by an aluminum housing ensuring reliable long-term operation in severe environments.
