Use the centrifugal G-Force calculator to determine the amount of force on an object rotating at a speed a certain distance away from the center of rotation.
This calculator can be used to determine whether a shaft torque measurement system can withstand the expected force in a certain application. Note that the diameter (d) is often larger than shaft diameter, since it includes the distance from the surface of the shaft to the furthest point on the torque measurement system.
