Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and test telemetry products which includes:
  • Complete final assembly of circuit boards (includes soldering and cleaning)
  • Complete basic mechanical assembly
  • Test and calibrate systems per documentation
  • Complete test data records as required
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs as appropriate
• Build and repair production test equipment as appropriate

Qualifications

The Production Technician position requires certain skills and personal characteristics and a well-qualified candidate will demonstrate:

Although not required, a background in electronics and/or the ability to perform fundamental electronics troubleshooting is definitely a plus.

Hourly wage: $20.00–$26.00/hr

Position Overview

Primary responsibilities include assembly and test of electronic components and systems.   Additional duties could include assembling parts kits, troubleshooting electrical or electronic systems or building electronics test fixtures.
